Cécile HEREDIA

French Voice Actress

Cécile HEREDIA - French Voice Actress

Who am I ?

Cécile HEREDIA, a professional voice-over and dubbing artist working full-time since 2011.

I travel throughout France to lend my voice to all kinds of projects, ranging from advertising and video games to e-learning, as well as voice-over work, narration, and dubbing.

As a radio voice-over artist, you’ve been able to hear me on ROUGE in Switzerland since 2019, alongside Emmanuel CURTIL. I’ve been the supporting voice for the talented Alain GHAZAL on ICI Lorraine and ICI Vaucluse since 2023, and the main voice for Oxygène (77) and Vosges FM since 2012.

What I love most is performing. Above all: not being just another voice-over artist among many.

Give me an audiobook narration, or characters to bring to life in audio dramas or to voice in cartoons, and I’m the happiest person in the world.

An ambitious motion design project? A quirky script for a company that wants to stand out: I’m here!

As my friend and colleague Laurent GARRET would say: we’re like roller coasters of the voice.

I travel throughout France, Europe, and around the world if necessary.

I do, of course, have a professional, broadcast-quality home studio, which allows me to respond quickly to projects that require it. It enables me to set up guided sessions with you via Session Link or Source Connect if all the actors wish to participate.

But I will always prioritize studio recordings and in-person interaction whenever possible.

I adapt to your budget and offer services on an invoice basis or for a flat fee.

Available for direct booking or through SpeakUp Agency.

YOU PROBABLY WON'T READ THIS, BUT…

… but if you really want to know who I am, it’s by reading this more detailed bio that you’ll truly understand where my passion for voice acting comes from, and my expertise in the field.

Ever since I was a little girl, my voice has been a topic of conversation. People always told me I’d do something with it. And that idea has never left me.

But in the 90s, a career as a voice actor was an unattainable dream unless you had family in the business. So I pursued theater and dance with passion in the amateur circuit and chose to take a more traditional path by studying cultural mediation and communication.

Except that fate had other plans. While I was looking for an internship to complete my undergraduate degree, I came across a job posting for a “communications and record label manager” at a radio station. During the internship interview, they immediately mentioned my unique voice and asked if I’d like to try my hand at being a radio host in addition to my original role. And that’s how I really started working with my voice. It was 2003. That’s when an intense life began, where, in a single day, I wore many hats: host, sales assistant, copywriter, and advertising planner. Studies were put on hold; I devoted myself body and soul to this new passion.

Then life took me to the Skyrock studios, where I planned the commercials but also spent a lot of time in the studios chatting with the sound engineers. Together with them, I produced my first national commercials. “Send LOVE to 7 17 17.” They were far from prestigious commercials, and yet that only strengthened my love for the profession of voice acting.

Four years later, having covered every aspect of the job in my daily duties and seeing no prospects for advancement, I decided to leave Skyrock to strike out on my own and fully commit to the voice-over adventure.
“It’s no big deal—worst-case scenario, if it doesn’t work out, I’ll go back to working in radio!”

My expertise in radio broadcasting and my acting skills allowed me to take off immediately and with great success. From the very first year, projects came one after another, allowing me to turn this dream into reality. Thank you to all my clients who trusted me from the start and continue to do so every day.

At the same time, a few years later, I developed a passion for content creation. I started on Twitch, where I quickly earned Twitch Partner status by introducing thousands of viewers to the world of acting over the course of about ten years. You can now find me under the username Cibou on YouTube and Instagram, where I continue to share my daily life as an actress and various adventures. I also write the podcast Réflexion, which allows me to indulge my passion for storytelling.

As for voice acting, I never lost sight of that goal. I had the opportunity to confirm my aptitude for the craft in 2013 thanks to a week of intensive training at the Ecole Française du Doublage et de la Voix. A few unpleasant personal experiences led me to set this desire aside. But in 2023, voice acting resurfaced in my life when I won a casting call for an animated series, currently available on Okoo (Welcome to Paper Port), and in 2024 for the recording of the game LOST RECORDS. I thus got back into the swing of things and reinforced this with another week of training at Dubschool in June 2025, the school founded by two big names in the industry: Dorothée Pousséo and Kelly Marot.

I am committed to putting performance at the heart of my work. I’m not just a voice-over artist—I’m a voice-over actress—and that makes all the difference. Being an actress means knowing how to embody a role and bring it to life, but also understanding the expectations of an artistic director or the guidelines of a brand.

If we work together, know that I will dedicate all my energy, attentiveness, and expertise to your project.
